August 19, 2026. TYW Manufacturing Mexico strengthens its presence in Guanajuato with an additional investment of 29 million dollars. The company started the construction of the second stage of its plant in Irapuato. Leon, Gto., August 19, 2026.- With an additional investment of 29 million dollars, TYW Manufacturing Mexico initiated the construction of the second stage of its plant located in the Centro Industrial Guanajuato Park, in Irapuato, consolidating the company's confidence in Guanajuato and strengthening the state's presence in the value chains of the automotive industry.

Representing the Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Muñoz Ledo, and the Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villaseñor Aguilar, the Undersecretary of Investment Attraction, Alejandro Hernández Fonseca, highlighted that this new investment is proof of the confidence that companies maintain in Guanajuato and the commitment of the State Government to generate the conditions that allow investments to translate into jobs, technological development, and greater opportunities for Guanajuato families. The second stage of TYW Manufacturing Mexico adds to the first phase of the plant, inaugurated in May 2025 with an investment of 50 million dollars. With both stages, the project reaches an accumulated investment of 79 million dollars and has the commitment to reach up to 1,000 jobs when operating at maximum capacity.

TYW Manufacturing Mexico develops high-precision technology for the automotive industry, particularly electronic boards and PCBA cards for new generation vehicles, and serves major companies in the sector. From Guanajuato, its production reaches international markets such as the United States and Korea, strengthening the state's participation in higher value-added global supply chains. Alejandro Hernández Fonseca pointed out that projects like this reflect the transformation that the automotive industry is experiencing and the opportunity for Guanajuato to consolidate itself as a hub of advanced manufacturing, electronics, automation, electromobility, and technological innovation. 'This second stage expands the possibilities of Guanajuato,' highlighted the Undersecretary of Investment Attraction, pointing out that the arrival and expansion of highly specialized companies also contributes to talent development, supplier growth, and a greater integration of Guanajuato companies into value chains.

He added that this investment aligns with the new economic policy 'Guanajuato SUMA', recently presented by Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Muñoz Ledo, whose vision seeks that investment attraction is not limited to the amount of capital arriving in the state, but generates greater local value through technology, specialized talent, innovation, supplier development, and opportunities for MSMEs. The growth of TYW adds to the investment attraction dynamics maintained by Guanajuato. Currently, during the current administration, 77 investment projects have been secured, representing more than 6.435 billion dollars in committed investment and 19,381 jobs, with which the state has already reached 80.44% of the six-year investment goal. With the start of this second stage, the company reaffirms its bet on Guanajuato and contributes to consolidating the state as a competitive destination for advanced manufacturing and technology development.
