LANGLEY — Thomas Martini, President & CEO of Vitrum Glass Group, announces the launch of RevoCast Aluminum Billets, a new, 120,000-square-foot aluminum remelting facility in Langley, BC. From the original foundations of Vitrum’s glass fabrication facility, to the addition of Apex Aluminum Extrusions, and now the inauguration of RevoCast, this latest investment is an attempt to grow business operations across Canada. RevoCast is reportedly designed to transform recycled aluminum into billets for use in manufacturing. RevoCast Aluminum Billets is also reportedly bringing advanced aluminum manufacturing capabilities to the facility, and creating skilled employment opportunities in the local economy.

According to a press release from the company, RevoCast’s furnaces utilize high-efficiency burner systems and electromagnetic stirring to optimize the melting process and reduce energy consumption. Energy is also captured through the drying chambers, reportedly improving overall efficiency.
